How to use gmail offline

Its very easy to read,compose,respond,and research your gmail acocunt when you are not connected with internet connection by installting the Gmail offline app.

How to install gmail offline 

  1. Visit the Gmail Offline page in the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Click Add to Chrome and then Add app.
  3. In Chrome, visit chrome://apps/.
  4. Click Gmail offline  
  5. Click Allow offline mail and then Continue.

After the app is installed, your messages will start syncing. If you close Google Chrome while your messages are syncing, sync will stop.

How to use gmail offline

Any messages you write, archive, label, or delete while you're offline will be sent or moved when you connect to the Internet.

  1. When you're offline, visit chrome://apps/.
  2. Click Gmail Offline.

Note: You can only add attachments of up to 5 megabytes (MB) for a single attachment, and 25 megabytes (MB) total for a single message.

Choose how many message get synced

To sync messages from more than 7 days ago:

  1. Visit chrome://apps/.
  2. Click Gmail Offline.
  3. In the top right, click Settings Settings.
  4. Next to "Download mail from past," select Week2 weeks, or Month.
  5. In the top right, click Apply.

How to uninstall gmail offline

Step 1 Remove offline data

  1. Open Google Chrome and go to chrome://settings/cookies.
  2. In the search box, type mail.google.com.
  3. Click Remove all shown.
  4. Click Done.

Step 2 uninstall gmail offline

  1. Visit chrome://apps/.
  2. Right-click Gmail Offline.
  3. Click Remove from Chrome.
